OpenAI se pregătește să inițieze o eventuală acțiune în justiție împotriva Apple din cauza unei relații „tensionate” cu producătorul iPhone, potrivit insider-ului Mark Gurman de la Bloomberg. Cele două companii au încheiat un parteneriat în 2024, în urma căruia ChatGPT a fost integrat în Apple Intelligence, pentru funcții precum Siri și Image Playground pe iOS, iPadOS și MacOS. Mai mult, utilizatorii de iPhone se pot abona la ChatGPT direct prin aplicația Settings, Apple reținând un procent din venituri. În cele din urmă, însă, raportul lui Gurman menționează că OpenAI se aștepta ca ChatGPT să fie integrat mai profund în alte aplicații Apple și să aibă o poziție mai proeminentă în cadrul Siri. Brighton winger Kaoru Mitoma has been left out of Japan's 26-man squad for the World Cup this summer. The 28-year-old sustained a hamstring injury in the Seagulls' 3-0 win against Wolves last weekend and will miss the club's final two Premier League games of the season against Leeds United and Manchester United. Stockport kicked off their 2025-26 campaign with a 2-0 win at home against Bolton Wanderers. And the same fixture brings the curtain down on each club's campaigns as they contest the League One play-off final, with both vying for a spot in the Championship having had near misses with promotions in recent seasons. Bolton set up their place in that final by beating Bradford over two legs, but they have not overcome Stockport this season. Manchester United coach Darren Fletcher has condemned the Football Association's handling of the Youth Cup final and said it felt like opponents Manchester City had "taken over" the competition. United lost the final 2-1 at Joie Stadium to complete a disappointing end to the campaign. Fletcher's team lost the Premier League Under-18 Cup to Crystal Palace on penalties after conceding a stoppage-time equaliser and also came second to City in Premier League North. However, while the former United and Scotland midfielder said Oliver Reiss' City side were the better team in Thursday's Youth Cup final, he was not happy with how the occasion had been handled. City rejected United's offer to host the match at Old Trafford after the Blues said it could not be held at Etihad Stadium because of ongoing construction works. That decision annoyed United academy staff as they felt it deprived players of both sides the opportunity to play a showcase final in what they felt was an appropriate setting. Joie Stadium is City's 7,000-capacity home for their academy and women's teams, and sits adjacent to the club's main stadium. As it turned out, despite Manchester City officials saying it was a sell-out, only the United section was full, with large numbers of empty seats in the home sections for a match watched by both first-team bosses, City's Pep Guardiola and United's Michael Carrick. Fletcher was further annoyed by what he felt was the over-the-top manner in which City's players and coaches were announced as they went to collect their winners' medals from EFL chairman Rick Parry. "I'm disappointed in the FA for everything that's gone around this game: for the location, for everything," said United Under-18s coach Fletcher. "You have to respect the opposition. But not when Man City take over an FA Youth Cup. "It's an FA competition. It should never have been like that. "I've never heard individual coaches be shouted out and every individual player be shouted out. That doesn't happen in cup finals. "It's an FA competition and it felt like it was a Man City competition for this whole build-up to the game and in terms of how we had to deal with that at the end. "That's my one gripe for tonight. But the best team won, compliments to them." It is understood Fletcher aired his views forcefully, shouting at FA officials while the post-match presentations took place. Fletcher is also clearly unhappy about the timing of the Premier League 2 play-off final at Brighton. That game in the competition for under-21 players is forming part of a double-header at Amex Stadium this Saturday evening, with a 19:30 BST kick-off. It follows a Women's Super League game at the stadium earlier in the day. The proximity to the Youth Cup final makes it tough for a significant portion of Fletcher's side, who are also PL2 regulars, to play. In addition, it means any young players likely to be used in United's Premier League game with Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford on Sunday lunchtime are unlikely to be involved. "We're dealing with a lot of difficult dynamics just now in terms of these youth fixtures, which is disappointing," said Fletcher. "With the under-21s game being 48 hours after this, some of our players aren't going to experience that. "Hopefully people take a step back now when they've come away from it. There's a lot of learning to be done for the Premier League and for the FA for these historic competitions." City declined to comment on Fletcher's complaints. The Talos Principle 3, the third and final chapter of one of the least-expected videogame series of all time, was made official today, and much like the jump from the first game to the second, it promises a familiar slate of puzzles wrapped in a very different sort of narrative experience. The teaser doesn't reveal much about what's in store for the third game, except that this is a conclusion, of sorts: "Every story has a beginning, a middle, and an end. Birth, life, death," the narrator intones. "But we are not stories." That's some serious Talos Principle teasing, alright, and as a fan of the series, it hits. That opening shot of the boundless cosmos seems pretty meaningful too, and I should probably point out that if you haven't played the previous Talos Principle games and want to enjoy them without spoilers, now would be a good time to go read something else. Konami has been gradually easing itself back into the business of making proper videogames in recent years and, as well as reviving the Metal Gear series with the Master Collection and an excellent remake of MGS3, has both remade Silent Hill 2 and co-developed Silent Hill f, the first properly new entry in the series since 2012's poorly received Downfall. And the good news? It was great! We're never going back to the halcyon days of Team Silent, but PCG's Elie Gould reckoned this was "a true return to form" that received a stonking 90% in our review: "A game that not only can stand proudly shoulder to shoulder with other goliaths in the series, but one that is brave enough to take risks and deploy changes to set the groundwork for what I hope to be the new standard of Silent Hill games going forward." Konami has now announced that Silent Hill f, released in September 2025, has sold over two million copies worldwide, as of April 22 this year. That's even more impressive in the context of the game itself, which is not a mainstream action blockbuster like your Resident Evils but a much more subtle horror experience set in 1960s Japan and woven around the culture's mythology. Protagonist Hinako and the choices she faces throughout, and the way her inner fears manifest, has convinced even the hardcore Silent Hill-ers that this series now has its identity back, and a real future ahead of it. Grand Theft Auto 6 has now been delayed twice. Initially set to release in the fall of 2025, it was moved to May 2026, and then moved again to November 2026, which now puts it in the busy holiday release season. On console, at least: No PC release date has been announced yet, because console players are GTA's core audience. It tends to put off PC releases for a year or more. We have a while to wait, then, and there are still a lot of unknowns: We saw a new GTA 6 trailer at the beginning of May, which gave us a glimpse at new side characters and finally confirmed Jason's name as legit, but nothing else since. iOS 26.5 reprezintă un update deosebit de important pentru utilizatorii de iPhone din Uniunea Europeană, acesta introducând mai multe modificări privind operabilitatea cu căștile sau dispozitivele purtabile de la companii rivale Apple. Astfel, utilizatorii europeni de iPhone primesc acces la noi funcționalități atunci când folosesc astfel de accesorii care nu sunt produse de Apple. Pentru a se conforma Legii piețelor digitale din Uniunea Europeană, Apple permite acum dispozitivelor purtabile de la producători terți să acceseze anumite funcții care, până acum, erau limitate la Apple Watch și AirPods. Acești producătorii de accesorii vor fi nevoiți, la rândul lor, să adauge suport pentru aceste actualizări de interoperabilitate, așa că este posibil ca acestea să nu fie disponibile imediat. OpenAI a lansat Daybreak, un răspuns la inițiativa Project Glasswing și la modelul Mythos AI ale companiei Anthropic. La fel ca în cazul lui Glasswing, Daybreak este un proiect de apărare cibernetică menit să ajute companiile din domeniul tehnologic să identifice vulnerabilitățile de securitate regăsite în platformelor acestora. OpenAI afirmă că Daybreak are ca scop integrarea apărării cibernetice în software încă de la început. Acesta se bazează pe lansarea de către OpenAI, în aprilie, a modelului GPT-5.4-Cyber, care, potrivit companiei, a contribuit la remedierea a peste 3.000 de vulnerabilități. „Daybreak combină inteligența modelelor OpenAI, extensibilitatea Codex ca platformă de agenți și partenerii noștri din cadrul sistemului de securitate pentru a contribui la crearea unei lumi mai sigure pentru toată lumea. Thomas Tuchel has submitted his provisional England squad for the World Cup, with Luke Shaw, Danny Welbeck and Alex Scott believed to be among the players named. It is understood Real Madrid defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has also made the preliminary list. World football's governing body Fifa permitted participating nations to submit a long list of 55 players for the tournament, which starts on 11 June, by midnight on Monday. Tuchel will now work towards cutting down the squad to a final contingent of 26 players for the tournament in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
