Un cip încă neanunțat al celor de la Samsung și-a făcut apariția în baza de date a uneltei de benchmark Geekbench, cu detalii mai amănunțite despre partea de GPU (graphics processing unit). Acest cip pare a fi viitorul Exynos 1680, dotat cu un GPU Xclipse 550, bazat pe arhitectura AMD RDNA 3.5, utilizată și pentru alternativa mai performantă Exynos 2500. Conform Geekbench, cipul, apărut sub numele de model S5E8865, a obținut 6330 de puncte în benchmark-ul OpenCL. De ce este atât de important acest S5E8865, presupus a fi Exynos 1680? Drept succesor al modelului Exynos 1580 (S5E8855) de anul trecut, Exynos 1680 ar trebui să stea la baza viitorului model mid-range Samsung Galaxy A57, precum și a altora modele din seria Galaxy A. Samsung va produce chipuri avansate pentru Apple, inclusiv pentru iPhone-uri, la fabrica sa din Taylor, Texas, SUA. His tactics have made waves from the Premier League through non-league football and into the grassroots game. Yet not all of them were planned long in advance. Yes, Guardiola creates systems and tactics based on how he views football, but they are also determined by the players he has at his disposal. Here we take a closer look at how Guardiola transformed the Premier League. Shot-stoppers to ball-playing keepers and back When Guardiola took the City job, one of his first decisions was to oust fan favourite Joe Hart and instead play Claudio Bravo, then Ederson. Guardiola wanted a ball-playing goalkeeper - not common practice in the Premier League - and was criticised for it. Ten years on, it would be more controversial to suggest a top-flight team doesn't need a No 1 who is comfortable with the ball at their feet. By the early 2020s, most Premier League teams had replaced traditional shot-stoppers with impressive passers - with varying degrees of success. At Manchester United, David de Gea was succeeded by Andre Onana. Aaron Ramsdale was replaced by David Raya at Arsenal, and Chelsea went from Edouard Mendy to Kepa Arrizabalaga to Robert Sanchez. The Democratic Republic of Congo's World Cup squad have been told to isolate for 21 days before they can enter the US because of the Ebola outbreak. DR Congo are training in Belgium after their training camp - scheduled to take place in Kinshasa - was cancelled. Andrew Giuliani, executive director of the White House Task Force for the World Cup, said the squad must remain in a "bubble" in Belgium. "They need to maintain that bubble or they risk not being able to travel to the United States. We cannot be any clearer," he told ESPN., external The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the US has banned entry from non-Americans who have been in the DR Congo, Uganda or South Sudan in the previous 21 days. All DR Congo's players are based outside the country and will not be affected by the restrictions now the training camp has been cancelled. "If there are other people that are going to be coming in, they need to have a separate bubble from that team," Giuliani said. "If they end up coming, and any of those people end up symptomatic, they are risking the entire team being able to come and compete in this World Cup." On Friday the public health risk from the Ebola outbreak in the DR Congo was raised from "high" to "very high" by the World Health Organization (WHO). WHO director-general Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said the risk in the wider region in Africa was "high" but that it remained "low" globally. Dr Congo are due to play friendlies against Denmark on 3 June in Belgium and Chile on 9 June in Spain. Tottenham head coach Roberto de Zerbi has defended club captain Cristian Romero's absence from Spurs' season finale against Everton, but says he "100%" understands why fans are upset about it. Romero, 28, will be in his native Argentina instead of at Spurs' final match of the campaign at home to Everton on Sunday as they battle to avoid relegation. Argentina defender Romero was already missing the game because of a knee injury and is in a race against time to be fit for this summer's World Cup. A win for Spurs would guarantee Premier League safety, although a draw should be enough because of their superior goal difference over 18th-placed West Ham United. While some Tottenham players who cannot play in the match, including Ben Davies, will be in attendance, Romero is instead expected to watch his boyhood club Belgrano take on River Plate. De Zerbi said the decision for Romero to return to Argentina was agreed with the club's medical staff. "He spoke with the medical staff. Together, they decided to go to Argentina to complete the rehab," said De Zerbi. "We spoke last week. With me, he showed always he wants to stay with us. The injury is already injured and we have to accept. "I'm not stupid. If I understand there is any player or some player who thinks for himself before the club, I can't be the same Roberto. With Cuti Romero, I can't say nothing because with me in my time, he's been correct. At the beginning until now." Asked if he understood why the decision may upset some Spurs fans, De Zerbi added "100% I understand". In the 40-year history of the play-offs, never has the pre-match talk before a final been so overshadowed by a team who are not involved in the match. Tuesday brought the news that Southampton had been expelled from the Championship play-offs for spying on opponents, with their place in the final against Hull City instead taken by Middlesbrough, who they had beaten in the semis. Since then Saints have appealed unsuccessfully against the decision, with an independent commission ruling their boss Tonda Eckert had "specifically authorised the observations". There is likely to be more fallout in the coming weeks but, in the meantime, it will be one of Hull or Middlesbrough who will be celebrating promotion to the Premier League on Saturday evening. Piloting mechs appears to be a big part of the game, but not all of it. Players will be able to fight outside their mechs as well while utilizing P.A.I.N.T. bombs, Holojumps, wallruns, and grappling hooks to quickly travel across the map. 1047 Games calls it a “movement shooter.” According to the game’s official description, two playable mechs will spawn on the map, each with its own armaments and abilities. Players who can get to one of the mechs first will have a distinct advantage over their opponents. But it’s also possible for a squad to take down a mech and reclaim the momentum in a fight. Players can sign up for early access on Empulse’s official site, but there isn’t a confirmed date beyond the vague 2026 release window. 1047 Games had a bumpy road in 2025, which included layoffs even as its founders cut their own salary. Splitgate 2 was also rolled back into beta in July 2025 before ultimately relaunching in December. Under the game’s new title, Splitgate: Arena Reloaded, the concurrent numbers haven’t been very encouraging. It appears that a big reveal of gameplay features and visuals tied to the new Virtua Fighter game is imminent. Overnight, part of what looks like an online presentation was leaked on Chinese video-sharing platform Bilibili, where it quickly spread like wildfire across Reddit and fighting-game discord channels. The footage, which features four characters showing off new and old fighting techniques, gives us a glimpse of the game’s flashy visual presentation, which seems heavily inspired by recent games like Street Fighter 6. The fighting, however, remains true to Virtua Fighter’s roots of martial-arts realism, depicting some brutal-looking strikes, kicks, and grapples. The already-revealed Wolf and Stella are present in the leaked footage, but there are two faces we haven’t seen yet: a male character who seems to use a mix of Southeast Asian martial arts–with their name shown briefly as “Cielo” during a shot of the matchup screen–and what appears to be an older version of longtime Virtua Fighter favorite Pai Chan. The title is also shown in part of the screen as “Virtua Fighter Crossroads.” Producer Riichiro Yamada and another RGG studio staff member also speak briefly about the game as the footage plays–which Gematsu has translated for the curious–giving veracity to the leak. It’s likely that we get a much bigger look at the upcoming game either during June’s State of Play presentation, Summer Games Fest, or EVO 2026. While the leak is unfortunate, it does offer a tantalizing glimpse into a longer showcase of the game coming in the near future that will likely tell us more about game modes, controls, and the narrative element. Stealth-action is probably not the first thing you think of when you hear “Warhammer,” but sometimes the most satisfying experiences are the most surprising. Announced during Warhammer Skulls 2026, Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Deathmaster is a 2D action-platformer starring a very talented–and disturbed–hooded assassin. Starring the “ratman” Vihneek, Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Deathmaster will see you making use of stealth abilities and traps to move around your enemies or deliver death from the shadows. The cartoony art style might suggest something a bit lighter at first glance, but this is a very violent, very Warhammer experience. And as you can see in the teaser trailer, Vihneek might be losing it, just a little bit. “Vihneek’s story is anchored in the rich lore of the Age of Sigmar, where the Skaven have erupted to seize the Mortal Realms for themselves,” the official announcement said. In general, killing everything in your path is a reliable strategy for Warhammer video games, and Vihneek seems up to the task. Publisher Dotemu has plenty of experience with 2D action games, including last year’s excellent Absolum and the recent Marvel Cosmic Invasion. We’ll have a little while to wait before we find out if Deathmaster continues that successful trend, as the game arrives in 2027 for PC and consoles. Nearly nine years after its release, live service support for Destiny 2 is coming to an end. Bungie has announced that it plans to release the last content update for the online shooter on June 9, 2026. In a blog post, Bungie explained that after the game’s last big expansion, The Final Shape, it felt that it had reached time on the stories it wanted to tell with Destiny 2. Content for Destiny 2 had been trickling in at a slower pace after Bungie focused more on releasing its extraction shooter, Marathon, with more time now being spent on determining what the studio’s next game will be. “As our focus turns towards a new beginning for Bungie, we will begin work incubating our next games,” the post reads. “To that end, on June 9, 2026, we will release the final live-service content update for Destiny 2 to begin that new journey as a studio.” Bungie has reassured fans that Destiny 2 won’t be going offline, with the studio planning to continue supporting it to ensure it remains playable and welcoming to new and old players alike. The blog post did not specify if previously vaulted content would be returning, however. Bungie’s latest title, the PS5 and PC shooter Marathon, is being significantly changed soon with the introduction of a PvE mode, in an attempt to attract players that might not be as enthusiastic about the game’s highly competitive PvP action. Bungie was acquired by Sony in July 2022 for $3.6 billion, with the PlayStation 5 manufacturer shifting its strategy away from live service titles significantly since then.
