Tottenham boss Roberto de Zerbi says knowing rival fans are willing the club to be relegated from the Premier League is a "big motivation" to stay up. Spurs are two points above West Ham, who occupy the final relegation place, and have a vastly better goal difference (-9) than their London rivals (-22) having played a game fewer. That means a point from either of their last two fixtures - at Chelsea on Tuesday or against Everton at the Tottenham Stadium - will safeguard their top-flight status bar a set of freak results. Chelsea supporters will be keen to pile the misery on to Spurs when the sides meet at Stamford Bridge. But De Zerbi said his players have to "enjoy this pressure", calling a "good thing" for them to have. "We have to find new motivation from this pressure. Enzo Maresca is set to replace Pep Guardiola as Manchester City manager before next season. As BBC Sport reported on Monday, iconic City boss Guardiola is expected to leave the club following Sunday's game against Aston Villa at Etihad Stadium, their final match of the season. Former Chelsea head coach Maresca has been identified as the leading contender to replace the legendary Spaniard for the 2026-27 season. With City preparing for Guardiola's summer exit for more than six months, talks with Maresca are at an advanced stage. Though Gray Zone Warfare's major 0.4 update meaningfully improved upon the core experience in most ways, it wasn't perfect, and the latest 0.4.2.0 patch aims to resolve some of its biggest issues. Gray Zone Warfare's 0.4 update built upon the established gameplay loop in all the ways that matter. This includes the introduction of over 100 new tasks, lore, new weapons, improved lighting and performance, and a host of other big boons. At the height of late 90s Pokemania, Nintendo released Pokemon Stadium for the Nintendo 64. Instead of offering a full-fledged RPG adventure like the Game Boy games, Pokemon Stadium kept the focus on Pokemon battles. The game was popular enough to warrant a direct sequel and a handful of spiritual successors, but Nintendo and The Pokemon Company moved away from this style of game after the Wii's Pokemon Battle Revolution. 20 years later, there's finally a new game to carry on the Pokemon Stadium legacy in the form of the free-to-start Pokemon Champions. Sadly for those that have been waiting ages for a new game in the Pokemon Stadium style, Pokemon Champions doesn't come close to delivering an experience as strong as its predecessors. Pokemon Stadium was primarily a game about Pokemon battles, stripping away the adventure and exploration of the main series games, but it had some extra bells and whistles to make it a little more appealing. The big draw of Pokemon Stadium was seeing Pokemon fully rendered in 3D, many for the first time ever, plus it offered connectivity with the Game Boy games and featured genuinely fun multiplayer mini-games. Pokemon Champions, by comparison, really only has the battles, so there's not much to chew on beyond that. One's enjoyment of Pokemon Champions is going to depend entirely on whether they are interested in competitive Pokemon battles. Pokemon Champions boasts Ranked Battles, Casual Battles, Private Battles, and Online Competitions, with Single Battle and Double Battle variants. The goal of the game is to win online battles and reach the elusive Champion tier. Pokemon Champions is All About Battling Battles in Pokemon Champions play out like they have in the main series Pokemon games for decades. Players take turns using moves as they try to knock out their opponent's Pokemon. Pokemon types play a major role in one's success in any given Pokemon Champions battle, as using Pokemon that are super-effective against your opponents' creatures is the quickest and most reliable path to victory. There are abilities, held items, and various other things to keep in mind as well, but at its core, Pokemon Champions battles are mostly about picking the right Pokemon to use. In a standard 1v1 match, Pokemon Champions players choose three Pokemon from their pool of six, and their opponent does the same. This way, no one knows who will have the type advantage until the battle starts. This makes sense, though the complete lack of 6v6 battles is disappointing. The lack of 6v6 is far from the only disappointing exclusion in Pokemon Champions. The game also lacks any kind of local multiplayer battles, which was a staple of its predecessors. Pokemon Champions is focused strictly on the online experience, but it's still a rather baffling oversight to not have at least the option for local fights. I was surprised by how the combat sandbox, while not revolutionary, evolved into something challenging and exciting, and I was surprised by how much Replaced managed to surprise me late into my playthrough—a hallmark of a passionately, artfully crafted video game. I was surprised by how the combat sandbox, while not revolutionary, evolved into something challenging and exciting, and I was surprised by how much Replaced managed to surprise me late into my playthrough—a hallmark of a passionately, artfully crafted video game. Coming from the consistently solid indie publisher Thunderful, Replaced is the debut release of Sad Cat Studios. The gaming world is no stranger to impressive indie debuts, with the past several years playing host to several up-and-coming industry darlings, like last year’s Sandfall Interactive, maker of Clair Obscur. While Replaced is perhaps not on the same level as that game, I would argue that it puts Sad Cat Studios in the same league as the likes of Sandfall, with its impressive, nuanced, and inventive art style, writing, and game design. Even when Replaced stumbles, it quickly recovers with an astonishing setpiece, gorgeous view, or new mechanic, which keeps it on the up-and-up throughout its 11–12 hour runtime.
