The Chocolate Hills on Bohol Island are more than 1,200 conical hills that turn brown in the dry season, giving them a “chocolate” appearance. They were formed from coral deposits uplifted by tectonic activity and sculpted by erosion. The hills are an iconic natural landmark, offering panoramic views from observation decks and sparking legends among locals.

The Chocolate Hills show that nature can create whimsical wonders that inspire both science and imagination.
