The Great Rift Valley stretches over 6,000 kilometers from Lebanon down to Mozambique, making it one of the largest geological formations on Earth. Its dramatic landscapes include volcanoes, lakes, hot springs, and deep escarpments. Many early human fossils were discovered here, earning it the nickname “the cradle of humanity.” It is also home to rich wildlife, including flamingo-filled lakes and vast savannahs.

The Great Rift Valley reminds us of our origins — and of the ancient forces that shaped our planet.
