FHISKER Postat Noiembrie 15, 2025 Postat Noiembrie 15, 2025 Lake Baikal, located in Siberia, is the world’s deepest and oldest freshwater lake—reaching depths of 1,642 meters and dating back over 25 million years. It contains nearly 20% of the planet’s unfrozen freshwater and is home to over 1,000 species found nowhere else on Earth, including the Baikal seal. In winter, its frozen surface forms crystal-clear ice patterns that attract scientists and travelers alike.
