[Tutorial] How To Record A Demo

Hello,

Today I will give you a simple tutorial of how to record a demo 

I know that it is easy, but there are many who do not know how, especially the new admins in the staff of ZmOldSchool

Demos are used as a proof to ban someone who is breaking the rules (exp: hacking or exploiting bugs etc...)

So today I will explain how to do a demo simply and easily

Step 1 :  Open your console in the game 
and type "record" + any name you want (name of the file)


 
Once you see the message "recording to "name of the file" in this case its zmoldshool" it means the recording has started 


 
Step 2 : After you are done recording and want to stop it 
simply write "stop" in console as shown below 



If you see the message "Completed demo" it means that your demo is completed 



Step 3 : If you want to see your demo you just write 
"viewdemo + demo name" like show below 



When you are watching a demo you have multiple control buttons to rewind , pause etc 


 
Step 4 : Locating your demo so you can upload to and share it 
Step 4.1: : If you have cs steam simply go to your steam library , right click on counter strike and press manage



After that press browse local files 
  Step 4.2: If you have non steam cs simply right click on your game icon and press "Open File Location"

 

Step 5: once you are in the game directory head over to cstrike folder 



And then you will find the file named "name of demo.dem" 



Step 6: To upload your demo you can use some of this sites :
