The plans indicate that Capcom intends to continue reinforcing the positive momentum it's built with its remakes, reboots, and sequels in recent years. Capcom's started 2026 on a hot streak, with multiple hit titles released within the first half of the calendar year. The critically acclaimed Resident Evil Requiem continued the franchise's run of highly beloved, well-received titles that began with 2017's Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.
