It’s like a career version of Christmas Eve, a 50-50 mix of brilliant excitement and absolute night-before-exam-style nerves. Why now? This is what I started out doing in 2000 and it’s all that I wanted to do. I don’t know why, but I kind of stopped and I’ve just been popping up and doing guest spots here and there. I wanted to do a few dates and the Citizens Theatre in Glasgowhas just had this massive refurb. I thought, well, it’s been shut for nearly the same length of time as I’d stopped doing comedy shows.
