Before Overwatch ever existed, Blizzard Entertainment was developing a massive MMO called Titan. After nearly 7 years of development, Titan was cancelled because it lacked clear direction and fun gameplay. Instead of discarding everything, Blizzard reused Titan’s engine, world-building ideas, and character concepts to create Overwatch. Many heroes—like Tracer, Reinhardt, and Winston—were originally designed for Titan. This makes Overwatch one of the most successful “reborn” games in gaming history. SOURCE
