Pakistan's government is set to auction an additional 600MHz of spectrum next month

aiming to boost internet speeds and roll out 5G services. This move is expected to improve 3G and 4G services within three to four months of the auction. The Federal Minister for IT and Telecom, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, announced that the cabinet has approved the framework for the auction, covering seven spectrum bands, with five being offered in Pakistan for the first time .
