🏗️ Football Governance & Structural Developments

FIFA has recently entered into a major partnership with Saudi Fund for Development, committing up to US$1 billion to fund football infrastructure worldwide. The plan focuses especially on developing countries, aiming to build or upgrade stadiums and sporting venues — a move billed as crucial for enabling more nations to host FIFA-sanctioned events. For Pakistan: after a period of suspension, the ban on Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has now been lifted by FIFA — restoring the country’s eligibility to compete internationally.
