The city of Lübeck, once the capital of the Hanseatic League, is known as the “Queen of the Hanseatic Cities.” Its medieval old town, surrounded by water and filled with Gothic red-brick architecture, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Holstentor Gate, with its two massive round towers, is the symbol of the city. Lübeck is also famous for its marzipan tradition, one of the oldest and most refined in the world.

✨ Walking through Lübeck is like turning the pages of a living medieval book — one story at a time.
