Monte Perdido, the “Lost Mountain”, rises 3,355 meters above sea level in the Spanish Pyrenees. It is the highest limestone mountain in Europe and forms the heart of the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The massif is renowned for its striking contrasts: towering cliffs, deep canyons, alpine meadows, and cascading waterfalls. The biodiversity here is extraordinary, with species such as the bearded vulture and Pyrenean chamois thriving in its dramatic environment. The trails leading up to Monte Perdido take adventurers through some of the most spectacular scenery in Europe, making it a dream for nature lovers and photographers alike.
