Meta is preparing to launch “Celeste”, consumer smart glasses equipped with a digital display in the lenses, at its annual Connect event, offering visually integrated notifications and basic displays, and the model will also include a wristband for gesture control,

improved cameras and longer battery life compared to previous versions, opening the platform to third-party developers for custom AR applications, a sign that Meta wants to fight in the AR & AI market with big players like Google or OpenAI.
