Context / Problem:
Currently, when a staff member publishes news, there is no centralized way to:

  • Quickly check whether a topic is still open or has been closed,
  • Avoid duplicate posts,
  • Track personal posting activity.

I recently received a warning because one of my posts remained open for more than 72 hours — I simply hadn’t noticed it didn’t have a closing date. With an export option, I could, for example, filter all posts from 09/01/2025 and immediately see which ones have no automatic closing date.

Proposal:

Add an “Export to Excel” function, available only to staff.

The exported file would contain a table with:

  • Topic / News Title
  • Publication Date
  • Closing Date
  • Statistics (to track progress)

Allow filters in Excel to identify:

  • posts that are still open,
  • duplicates (topics already posted before).

Objective / Benefits:

  • Simplify managing and closing topics.
  • Easily track personal performance (posting volume and regularity).
  • Reduce the risk of duplicates with Excel’s built-in filters.
  • Avoid unnecessary warnings and improve moderation quality.

I know most people just like to make the post without adding many details, but I prefer to work in an organized way and I don’t like receiving warnings. Whenever there’s an issue, I look for solutions to prevent the same problem from happening again.

Best regards .

To avoid duplicates, please use the "Search" function, it is at the top in the middle.

Search -> Announcements and then you search for exactly where you want to search for the topics.

For personal activity tracking, on the left when you enter your profile under the cover picture, "See my activity" you can see everything you do, everything you post, etc. (

And for all the problems above, you just have to be more careful.. to check if you have added tags, if you have set a timer on the topic, if the title is good.. if you have a good source, etc.

For me, this proposal is a bit useless because I can check all this data with just a few clicks.

Btw, "I know most people just like to make the post without adding many details, but I prefer to work in an organized way and I don’t like receiving warnings. Whenever there’s an issue, I look for solutions to prevent the same problem from happening again." - I appreciate that you are active everywhere.. you always forget to resize the pictures in your topics. If no one has done it, I'll leave you a link here on how to learn how to make the picture smaller and all the details.

Thank you for your feedback, @sh1nRa-. I would like to clarify a few points so that you can better understand me and to avoid having to repeat these explanations each time.

In the search option, if you look for the movie [Film] Django Unchained, you will only get a few results. However, if you search for the movie [Film] Line of Duty, you may get 7 pages, or even 3 pages if you apply a search filter. In some cases, there can be many more results, ranging from 10 to 25 pages. I hope this is clear.

Regarding my proposal, using the Excel export is optional for a staff member; it is not mandatory. For me, this feature is very helpful in managing and tracking information more efficiently.

Okay, I understand your point of view.

I'll tell you how I do it, when I'm looking for a movie or anything to see if it's been posted before, under the search bar you have a few more options... 2 or 3, well, the last one is to contain those words only in the title and that way it only offers me topics with the respective words in the title.

I'm not saying it always gives you good results, there may be some bug and at that moment it may not find all the results you want, but I doubt it.

I don't mean to say that what you suggest is bad.. on the contrary, it's good.
I'm just saying that it's possible without it.

It's just my opinion, let's see what our colleagues say.  🙏🏻

There is already a search function to check for duplicate posts, and a 72-hour timer that automatically closes the post. You also have to make sure to set the closing date to three days, so it closes automatically. So, I think this feature might not be necessary.

We as Global Moderators check the forum and the topics created by you that day every day, if necessary we modify them, if not we leave that topic as it is!
This function cannot help us especially since we have the search function with which we search for everything we need!

  • We are not LEAGUECS corporation to rely on Excel. For duplicates, you can simply use the search function (available for every post on this forum). If you want to review your own activity, you can check the "View my activity" section in your profile, where you can see your posts, comments, and also track any reactions or feedback received from other members. :contra:

I understand that the forum already has certain features for searching and viewing member activity. That said, my proposal for an Excel export option was mainly intended to offer more flexibility to those who wish to analyze or organize the data according to their own criteria (e.g.: filter, sort, create personal statistics, etc.). I don't think that this is necessarily a "corporate" approach like that of LEAGUECS, but rather an additional tool that could be useful to certain members, without removing anything from existing functionalities, as I have already communicated, the Excel export is optional for a staff member; it is not mandatory

We already have the search function available, as me colleagues mentioned. I like that you are actively involved in making suggestions, but this proposal will be rejected. Just try to be more careful when posting a topic and follow the way you were taught from @sh1nRa-
