Bayern Munich have confirmed that Jamal Musiala requires surgery after fracturing his fibula (calf bone) and dislocating his ankle in a 2-0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the FIFA Club World Cup quarter-finals. Musiala emerged from a challenge with Gianluigi Donnarumma screaming and clutching his left ankle. It was the Germany international's first start since recovering from a hamstring issue.
