Plus, we find out an actual player count number for GTA Online. Analytics firm Stream Hatchet confirmed this week in their 2025 streaming report that GTA V was the second most watched game in 2025 via livestreaming in terms of hours watched. This is on all of the different streaming platforms combined such as Twitch and YouTube. GTA V clocked in over 1.9 billion hours watched on live streams last year. This is down 5% from 2024. Given the prior year saw big growth (21.3%), GTA VI was expected to be out in 2025 and lots of other popular games out this year, this dip is not all too surprising. SOURCE
