Paradox Interactive and The Chinese Room have reversed their initial plan to offer the Lasombra and Toreador vampire clans as day-one DLC, announcing they will now be included in the base game of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, based on strong community feedback.

This means all six clans will be part of the standard version at launch, removing previous paywalls for those two clans. Though some premium content packs (like “Loose Cannon” and “The Flower & The Flame”) are still planned for post-launch in 2026, this change does not affect the October 21, 2025 release date. The move has been praised by fans as a sign that the developers are listening and willing to adjust based on players’ concerns.
