Square Enix is finally bringing Final Fantasy VII Remake: Intergrade to Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X on January 22, 2026, letting a whole new audience experience Cloud’s reimagined adventure. This version will include the Intermission DLC focused on Yuffie, optimized combat with an optional turn-based mode, and a photo mode to capture your favorite moments.

Developers are also adding a "Streamlined Progression” mode for players who want to focus on the story without extensive grinding. Square Enix has confirmed that Rebirth (Part 2) and Part 3 of the remake trilogy will also release on these platforms, ensuring a complete narrative experience.
