On August 17, Kai Cenat announced on X (formerly Twitter) a "Huge Announcement + Fortnite Icon Series Reveal tomorrow!", before receiving a cryptic response from the Fortnite account: "Leaked" — a subliminal confirmation that has kept fans reacting. A remarkable return to the streaming scene was thus accompanied by a good dose of media suspicion.

The next day, Epic Games validated the info, indicating that the famous skin will be made official on August 18, 2025 at 8:30 p.m. PST (Tuesday 05:30 a.m. French time). It will be deployed in different time zones, with packs likely including complementary accessories such as an emote and a back accessory.
