Tutorial: How to Record a Video or Take a Screenshot from a Game Using Windows Tools

Suitable for all players on Windows 10 and Windows 11

If you want to record your epic moments or capture screenshots to showcase your skills , everything you need is already built into Windows!
Or even if you want to take a photo or record a video as proof of players breaking the rules inside the game, this tutorial is perfect for you.

Just follow these steps:

 

1. Launch the game (Counter-Strike 1.6 NewLifeZM).

2.  Press the Windows + G keys on your keyboard.

3.  The Windows Game Bar interface will appear.

4. At the top, click the "Record" button or use the shortcut:

Windows + Alt + R to start/stop recording quickly.

5. When you're done, press the same keys again to stop recording.

 6. The video is automatically saved in: Videos > Captures

Important Notes:

1. Make sure the Game Bar is enabled:
Go to: Settings > Gaming > Xbox Game Bar > and turn it on.

2. Game Bar works perfectly with both official and non-official versions of CS 1.6.

3. No need to install extra programs like Bandicam or Fraps.

4. Make sure the game is running in Fullscreen mode for the best quality.
